All Welcome
Phyre loved the hunt. Always has. She spent most of her time looking for food. As a result of this, her round plump belly looked as if she were baring pups. It sways heavily from side to side as she walked. Although he was a hefty wolf, it didn't slow her down much.

The 200lb wolf gingerly steps through the woods trying to keep her foot steps light in case prey were nearby. She had only eaten a few hours ago, but out of sheer boredom she decided to find something else to eat. Why not? What else was there to do? She put her nose to the sky in hopes of picking up a scent. It must be her lucky day because sometimes it took some effort to find something, but this time she picked up the scent of a rabbit right away. Plumes of condensation blew from her nostrils as she inhaled and exhaled deeply. Saliva starting to form in her mouth. She could practically taste the juicy rabbit. "Delicious.." she thought to herself before letting out a long winded howl and then breaking into a trot as she followed the scent. Her fat belly bouncing with her. It was only a matter of time before her new kill joined the unlucky other rabbit she had feasted on a few hours before..

The howl pulled him from his work, patrolling the outskirts of the canyon. He didn't recognize the sound, and whoever had made it was far too close to what was theirs.

Kallik bounded in the direction of the sound, adrenaline filling his veins as he got closer. He could scent the stranger now, and pushed his legs to carry him even faster. The scent of rabbit mingled with the scent of the stranger, and he wondered if they were hunting on land that was not theirs.

He barreled out of the trees just in time to see the large wolf trotting towards him. She looked as though she wasn't hurting for food. The extra weight she carried made her about the same size as the auxillary.

He stood like a wall of ice in her way. His face blank but hackles raised. Stop he demanded.

Quickening her pace a bit, she moved forward. She could hear her heart beating in her ears and the crunch of snow under her paws. Her nose twitching taking the scent as it became stronger. The rabbit didn't have a chance. The scent was so strong that she knew it was within a few yards or so at this point. As excited as she was she knew that they spooked easy so she slowed down. Phyre licked her lips and flared her nostrils. There is was, the hare was practically handed to her on a dinner plate.

She was getting ready to crouch down into stalking position before almost colliding into a male wolf. It caught her completely by surprise. "Stop", said the stranger. She wanted as the rabbit startled and took off into a burrow nearby. She grunts in aggravation.

She was so preoccupied with the rabbit, she hadn't been very aware of her surroundings. That could have turned ugly quickly. He clearly was not happy that she was there. Her gold eyes look up at the wolf and she stands upright. "May I help you, friend?.." She tries to sound as sincere as possible, but to be quick frank, she could care less. All she wanted was that rabbit..

Kallik didn't flinch as the woman almost slammed into him. He just stared at her with obvious judgement. Only an ear flicked at the sound of the rabbit taking off, probably headed to some tiny hole neither of them could fit even a paw in.

I am not your friend, he told her first. And you are hunting near claimed lands. Turn around and head back towards the valley; the prey here belongs to Mereo. There would be no polite warning. Hopefully, she would head his orders and leave so he could get back to work.
