she had managed to find another peaceful place. which was a relief considering it was located by mountains. walls that towered in a way she had never seen before. well, not seen up close!
the fog hung thick down here though and the peaks she might have seen yesterday were no longer visible. it was certainly ominous. the trees here were barren, tall wispy figures in the fog. she couldn't help but gawk at the sight some. haunted by the sound of bare branches gently scrapping against each other with each breeze that cut through the hollow.
perhaps if she sung, the place would not be so haunting.
