She had woken to her stomach turning. She cursed herself for eating that rabbit last night; it had smelled off, but she figured it was because she had been working on her medicines all that day and a long day of breathing in various plants made things smell strange sometimes. But this morning, she had rushed from the den and emptied her stomach on the grass outside. She kicked dirt over the the bile and foam and went to the channel to drink and wash her face.

The bruin-heart spent the rest of the morning back at mosskeep; spring meant that there was much to do and after she had sipped on some of her ginger root tincture, she was feeling much better and up to working.

A yawn parted her jaws as she checked on the elder bark tincture she had been working to perfect. A sudden wave of exhaustion made her sit back on her haunches. She shook her head and after a moment, the feeling passed. Her sleep hadn't been great last night, probably because of her upset stomach.

She shrugged and stood back up, placing her paw in the bark and water mixture to muddle things a little; she thought it needed a few more days.

The foxlike woman prances through the valley, unsure of what to do. While most of her free time has been spent endlessly tending to the injury she sustained to her head. She’s going to make damn sure it doesn’t fucking scar and if it does she’ll find that woman and fuck her face up ten times as bad. Still, though it’s enough to sour her mood when she thinks about it, she still wanders in search of entertainment.

And look who she finds! Their beautiful black and red leader. A smile curves her lips up as she approaches the other woman in a light, airy trot.

“Ariel,” She greets softly. “how are you? Has everything finally settled in the valley once more?” She hums inquisitively, almost in a cheery way.

Then she looks down at her work on the bark and lights up further. “Ooh, what’s that?”

She heard the voice from behind her and turned. Pandora. She was one of the few that hadn't proved to be a traitor, yet the bruin-heart knew little of her. That was Arielle's fault, admittedly, since she had been preoccupied lately with why she had seen so little of her husband. Her heat had ended, and then he had disappeared. It was confusing and left her with a pit of shame in her stomach.

It seems that way for now, she answered. Then she looked down at her tincture that the other woman was interested in. It is a tincture for pain. I have been experimenting with different herbs. So far this bark has been much more effective this way.

I wonder if this method would work on your poisons? she asked. She might have to experiment with that too, though she would need to find someone to test it on.
