All Welcome

sorry! 'scuse me!! the child carried a bundle of something neatly tucked in to her teeth, winding hastily through a throng of older fellahin; ducking, weaving, nearly dropping whatever it was —
i'll be right there miss tee, nearly stomping on someone's foot; wheeling around sayf as he came striding down the hall, then ducking in to one of the alcoves.
nazli drops the bundle to the bedspread and sighs, struggling to catch her breath. the bolt of fur unravels where she's dropped it. inside is a bundle of partially crushed flowers, some dusty red pebbles, and what looks to be a bird's dried foot.
she barely had time to shake the sand from her coat before someone popped up behind her in the doorway, calling her name. she was late for lessons and all she had to show for it was this pile of junk, oh boy.

the neb was in great need of a fellahin, as the past days had been awash with sweltering heat and choking humidity, and that had horrid effects on his quality of fur.

looking for a helping paw in the hallway where they could be found, he saw a young, robin blue thing in a hurry, turn sharply into an alcove.

like a guided missile he trotted after, until his head poked in, and the chihuahua cleared his throat.

"uhm," he stepped clearly into view. "are ya busy right this moment, young miss?"

it was the small neb, the one stuck in a child's body.
nazli lightly kicked the pile of objects with one rear heel, as if to hide the mess beneath a pile of furs there. oh! i am not, sir. not for you, i mean. neb, sir.
tavina was expecting her but this was a very good reason to be late, so even though nazli felt very guilty for that, she had to make a sacrifice.
what do you need, sir?
