@Khaba whenever, just really wanted to smush her at him <3

the giant of mereo had gone away.

she no longer thought of what he might be as a personal guard.

but she had come home to spot a giant in akashingo. she was enchanted by the sight of him. large and muscular. he was swarthy, save for soft spots of silver. he was a mazoi here.

all of this boded well for her.

she wished to see him closer, so she sent a fellahin to fetch him at once.

Aside from Ramesses, none else had summoned the beast. It was as foretold... most overlooked his silence.
This summons also allowed an opportunity to set eyes on one of the fellahin of the mesa. He'd seen few thus far, but was intent on dedicating each to memory.
Regardless of who sought him, Khaba was prompt. The hulking frame of the raven furred canine came appeared quickly before the young girl. He halted not short of a distance from her, tipping his snout forward as per both a greeting and question of why his presence had been requested.

she became radiant before him.

even larger up close, a hulking beast like none other. she admired him from a place of furs, a perch she had had made for these very reasons.

he did not speak.

you are an admirable mazoi,

Just as with the amiir, Siptah, Khaba was a silent statue before the eyes of the amiirad. There was simply no other way to be.
Though, when she praised him for something so insignificant — that so being the proportions he carried — the beast's paw lifted in a quick manner, stomping the ground just as hastily. It wasn't meant as a rude gesture, but instead one to show his gratitude for her words. She had only just met him and already his presence was that much more happily received.

she was charmed!

he did not speak, he used his paws to gesture his meanings.

her features warmed like a vibrant sun, befitting the princess of akashingo. silent in return, she beckoned him a bit closer with a soft swing upwards of her muzzle.

she wished to further admire the warhorse of a mazoi.

The amiirad too said nothing in this instance, only gesturing him forward in response.
Many hairs upon his neck bristled in an uncanny, but complacent manner. This girl was so content with him, eyes gleaming each time her eyes were upon him. Why was this? It confused him, yet interested him all the same.
Khaba chuffed in a whisper when her muzzle swung. As if he was magnetized, led close by a leash, his feet carried him forward a few steps. He minded himself, though. To not move too close was his intent.
Although he had not been here long, placement of the hierarchy had been easy to learn. He was a mazoi, whereas she was amiirad, offspring to the great pharaoh himself. It would never be his intention to cross the bounds he knew well were not designed to be crossed.

she had been given fear once.

it had not changed her enough for her to be nervous in her own home. her palace, her mazoi.

she reached out with a nose, touching a shoulder. to feel the muscle built beneath it. to assess him further without words. there was not an ounce of displeasure in her now.

she favored this one greatly and it showed in her gaze when she finally pulled away.

It was evidently so unknown by the mazoi why she drew so close, even so as to press her nose unto his shoulder. Had she been searching for something, or was it a simple gesture of some kind?
But as she pulled away, the satisfaction in her gaze dismissed the query in its entirety. Khaba felt something then that he had before. Belonging. The amiirad had no words, but albeit, she needed none for him to sense this.
Backing up a step or two, tail swaying in warning, the beast lowered his bulk and hovered over the ground until his belly eventually sunk entirely. This had been the same indication of his loyalty and respect for Ramesses, and now he presented it to her. His full submission.
Just as he had become a servant by choice to the pharaoh, he now had for the great one's child. None else would have this honor, this obedience. To their command, there would be questioning or hesitance. As was the definition of a true, loyal soldier. A mazoi at his finest.

how wonderful and easy!

she knew exactly what the display of him meant and knew all at once she would not need to steal some beast from mereo. she did not know it to be true, but she felt as if father pharaoh had given her a gift in this man.

for surely makono could have any pick of the mazoi.

but she picked him.

this wordless, giant, handsome beast of a mazoi. she rumbled warmly at him, her tail tapped at the stone earth in approval.

at once, she snapped her head towards a nearby fellahin and instructed them to bring the man a chunk of meat.

With a gentle fray of her tail and a simple, warm vocal sound, Khaba knew he had done right. This girl was one he could trust, as she could do so of him.
He would not rise until later a fellahin returned with a prized hunk of semi-warm flesh. While it looked appetizing, he could not help but admit his appetite was inadequate for such a gift.
But would it not be rude to turn it away? Perhaps.
Even so, the mazoi would not dare tear into with haste. Instead, he waited for some indication of invitation.

they did not need words.

but she decided she would share much with him either way. meals, trips, things to diplomatically bond them further. he had already pledged himself to her with his submission.

she saw it fit to repay him for every single deed he did in her favor.

she plucked a piece of the meat for herself, then pushed the remaining half towards him.

He had not expected so much trust from this girl. Not one so young. Was it out of naivety? Possible, but not likely. She was a royal child; blood of the white ruler. How could she have been raised thus far without the proper teachings? He didn't believe that it could be so.
It was easy to see that, through him, this amiirad knew what she wanted. As Ramesses had already made known, both would have their way with his obedience and mold him into the most quintessential puppet. Even Khaba himself knew... it was fitting for a disciplined beast such as he.
When the mazoi showed hesitance towards the meat brought by the girl's order, she took time to sever the flesh, keeping a chunk for herself and the rest left for him.
He was not starved, hence he would not ravage the provision — though, out of gratitude, he would still eat regardless of his appetite. And so, in a gentlemanly manner (or as much so as he was able) the mazoi began to nibble on the offering.
The meat tasted fresh and piquant. A tender, pleasant reward. Now that he'd begun to eat, a pang of hunger struck where it before had not been. Maybe he was hungrier than he chose to admit. After all, the beast was one that required much sustenance.

could be a fade and we will ofc have new stuff soon <3

stay near and we will do this often.

he did not speak words, but he had proven to at least understand them to some extent.

she trusted they would have far more time to build this careful relationship. she would nurture it the same way she had nurtured her relationship with nazli.

Sounds good ^^

The beast looked up as she began to speak, moments later tipping his nose forward in a slight nod.
He would remain near. After all, where else had he to go? His responsibilities kept him close to the palace. The mazoi would be at her disposal whenever she did in fact summon him.
