All Welcome
it didn't feel right having her away :< anyone welcomed, tagged or not

@Akkuma had settled elsewhere after some time of travel.

Whatever he had, she could not heal. It had hurt and pained her in long rotations. To admit such a thing to herself. To have to find him peace in a place that was not their home, not under the protection of his blood. What would she say when she faced @Kigipigak again? That she had failed as issumatar and mother?

The last time they had spoken had been tense with these decisions.

Shame had streaked her face in hot tears as she recalled it all.

As she laid upon a caribou skin, the sky became fire. Clear and watching upon her cradled body. How wayward she felt, like she was adrift at sea, but she was in a familiar place. And how misplaced it felt to be lost here.

Far from everything and everyone she loved.

Sakhmet Melonii had failed, and it was not for the first time. She feared it would not be the last.

Slowly she rose, bedraggled and sides sleeked. Moonglow was not far and yet she wondered what they would think of her face returning so soon.

Empty handed.

Drenched in her defeat.

this was a biome she was careful around, making sure each step was taken with calculation. a small frustration scratched at her heart, that she wasn't yet a confident naturalist in it.

she saw the вук coming early. unusually - she would fully admit - the huntress did not alter her course.

there came a point in their shared road where the beast would be at lower ground, and she at higher. there, the huntress stopped.

she had questions.

but, her muscles tensed to run.
