All Welcome
she followed the winding riverbed through woodland and fields, eventually pausing in a small meadow just shy of the plateau resting on the other side of the water. through a light breeze and a keen nose, the viper could tell others resided upon the highland. she wasn't particularly interested in seeking them out, though made note of their location should she grow an interest in joining a formed group.

for now she tread along the water's edge, eyes peeled for any sight of life swimming among the soft current. aquatic game was not her strong suit, but she would not let the opportunity for a meal pass by so easily.

Food sources brought competition.

Other predators usually. Sometime the species of those competitors aligned. Especially when it was so close to his home. But she was small. Tiny. He saw no threat in her here.

So he moved along the other edge of the water. A prowling motion as he watched her, not bothering to hide himself one bit.

she'd been absorbed in her pursuit of food, her senses dialed in on the frogs and minnows that scurried about as she tread the water's edge. but she was not blind to the newfound audience she'd gathered.

a male, well fit, handsomely crafted, and assumingly a part of whatever collection of lives had gathered upon the plateau behind him. she took his lack of aggression as silent confirmation that she'd not overstepped any boundaries.

she paused then, mismatched gaze cast in the stranger's direction. she did not know his temperament, nor how he would react should she find herself fortunate enough to secure a snack. and so curious as to how friendly this particular local was, solaris let her tail flow to and fro in a silent greeting.

She was hushed, but seemingly friendly.

Neutral at the very least. She did not strike him to be the kind of woman like Ash Paw. Haughty and always one to take hold of the situation. Maybe that was too old of a view to have for a man still so young.

Looking for something? He asked, like a helpful local guiding a tourist.

it was a staring game, until it wasn't.

he'd asked a question she'd heard a million times before, and as if pondering on his words, she tipped her head skyward in fake thought.

"good food, a handsome man to keep me company, quality entertainment." the list could go on, but she'd not bore him with pretty words of desire.

she sought his flaxen gold gaze then, her own eyes of emerald and amber flashing a playful beam. "might you be one of them?" she asked in regards to her list.
