All Welcome
whenever you're ready. <3

Darkness shrouded the eastern slope, the last of the light disappearing behind the peak to the west. The moon in its full brilliance lit the paths well for the raindrop who now made her way toward the ulaq of the trio. She hoped to find @Stingray there and learn more about him. She knew what it was to lose family at such a young age, and it had shaped her a great deal. Sialuk knew the same would be for Meerkat's young son.

It should have been easy for Stingray to fall asleep. The nights he had spent with his parents on the way to Moonspear had afforded him little rest, and what sleep he did get was disturbed by images of his brother and a great, terrible bear. He was safe here at Moonspear, but no matter how tightly he squeezed his eyes, sleep simply wouldn't come.

He was already sitting up with a defeated sigh when Sialuk came prowling. The sound of footfalls made his ears stand tall and his neck stiffen, but only long enough to recognize them. Not the lumbering tread of a bear or the prowling of another predator, just the steady step of a wolf.

Hello, Sialuk, he greeted when he saw the familiar peppered coat in the moonlight. He swept his tongue over his lips and ducked his head deferentially, the tip of his tail giving an eager wiggle.

For a boy so young, and to have lost so much, he appeared to be on the upswing. She noted the wiggle in his tail and the light in his eyes. You are finding Moonspear comfortable? she asked. The starwoman wished that he and his parents were well taken care of in their time of need. It was this that concerned her the most. Sialuk continued to call to Swordfish's spirit from the spear as often as she could, but she knew she must also protect the hearts of those who lived here now.

She let her haunches fold beneath her, settling down next to him so they might look out at the world side-by-side.
