All Welcome
Puppy thread, anyone? @Everarda  @Matteo  @Ines

Manias was about as happy as a puptato could be, considering that he had no concept of emotions, or really anything else. He awoke, he fed, he slept. Sometimes he fought with his siblings over a nipple, and sometimes they all found their own without trying to take each other's. Sometimes he was nudged around by his mother or father and sometimes he was not. All in all, he had a good life, such as it was.

Everarda was content with her day to day. It was a regular routine not that she realized it yet, thank you very much. But she did enjoy what she could do and her limited area.

She fought with her brothers and sister, was loved on by mom and dad. She often sought out her father's calming presence, when she wasn't hungry. She was blind, but her touch was pretty decent.

Her life was no different than any of her siblings: eat, pee, sleep, repeat. Blind and deaf to the world, there really wasn’t much else to it. She should have just chilled like most puppies her age did, but an inkling fear that she was missing out on something crawled through her little mind.

There was more than this! Not that Ines had any concept or words for what that more even was, but she felt and she smelled, more and more each day, and naturally, her desire for other senses — one’s she had no concept for either — began to awaken.

But really though, what right did they have! To stir this desire, without telling her the actions she could take to wrestle it beyond a frustrated shuffle. So Ines would scoot around the warm den floor, until she inevitably bumped into her brothers or sister.

Like most of his siblings, little Matteo's mood these days could only be described as content. Cocooned in the warmth of the den, he has little concept of the outside world, bar the alien scents that sometimes seemed to accompany mom and dad - all which were very interesting to a little pup.

It was during one particularly long nap when he was rudely awoken by a sharp prodding at his side. It was Ines! Though she seemed more wiggly than usual. Shuffling his way nearer, he plops himself down next to her and gently gums at her face. Did she want to play?

Manias did not have most of his senses yet, but he could smell. He smelled his mother most of all, but underneath that, and the scent of sweet milk, he also smelled the three other tiny chubby furry bodies beside his. His siblings. He did not know them as such, but they were his siblings nevertheless. Had he been born all alone, perhaps he would have been lonely. As it was, all he ever wanted was to get away from their constantly squirming bodies.
