ajaw is glad to be home, despite that they know it will not be long before they would have to venture back out and see about the pack that @Caro had mentioned to them.

her days had been spent learning all there is to know of the canyon, some spent venturing to gather information should ajaw and the canyon be safe with current numbers. not one moment had she questioned her place among the holcan. this gave her purpose, even power. no man would abuse her once more. if love was a tie that could be cut, this tie was not.

her ajaw was surely safe with her sister, sabah. the need for her to be there wasn't present, but it was here, at the canyon that moment.

not terrible ... but not as well as this one could have hoped. it was to be expected, they realize. tikal had arrived in force and gathered in strength quickly. and despite ajaw's talk if peace tikal was a threat.

at least now this one has made formal introductions.
