@Vaettir had been them for many days. Surely, they had now grown accustomed to the way of things.

Asvoria waited deep within her temple chamber, eyes fixed on the entrance with expectancy to see the priestess-to-be.

It was time for her promise to be fulfilled.

The Crone was as usual tending to the Temple grounds.
She did so for many days alongside finding herbs for her personal stores, until eventually the High One summoned her.
If it had not been a vocal call, it was certainly the energy of this day.

Vaettir entered the chambers of Asvoria with a silent step, eyes peering into the depths as she approached the High Priestess with a silent inquiry in her silvery gaze.
"You summoned me?" She asked in her gentle tones, knowing that Asvoria would tell all in due time.
The Crone's patience was vast and deep.

Vaettir came, and Asvoria greeted her with a warm smile.

You have been here many days, Vaettir. Have things been well for you? She must ask this first, to be sure.

Vaettir nodded once, soft and slow.
"Things have been more than well." She answered with her own light smile, "I have also met at least one other, the man Dreven." She added as an emphasis to her statement.
She would answer further questions with just as much openness.

It had only been a short while, and yet they felt comfortable. Things were well, and this is all Asvoria can hope for.

If you feel you are ready, it is time that you rise to Sveinur, pupil of the gods. It is in this role that you will learn the ways in which befit a priestess. She waited, curious to know their answer to this proposition.

A proposition made.
Vaettir's eyes widened slightly with surprise.
It felt so soon in comparison to her time here, but...

"I would be honored to fill a position such as this." She answered softly.
Clearly it was unexpected, but not unwanted.
Perhaps her age helped in this case, for Vaettir was older than at least some others here.
But of course, she did not know for certain.

Perhaps it was soon, but it felt deserving.

Asvoria nodded softly, welcoming this acceptance. I welcome you as my pupil, then.

But this would not be a simple apprenticeship. It will take time for you to become priestess— but I have faith that you will learn well.

Vaettir straightened slightly as Asvoria confirmed her promotion.
The Crone would nod softly and utter "Thank you, High One."
It was a moniker meant with respect, as Vaettir hoped Asvoria would see.
