All Welcome
Ever since the cricket incident, Kassuq kept a close eye on his brothers, keeping @Massaraq and @Arrluk at arms length when he could, preferring instead to spend his time with @Galana or @Kukutux . Or by himself.

It was just an over cautious mind, wary about the prank even if it had occurred ages ago in his puppy mind, but he was always on guard.

The growing young man came trundling around the ulaq, his eyes peering through the hefty bushes he’d been laying in, before he moved out into the sun. He looked left. He looked right. Then, he flopped onto his side.

He would soak beneath the sun, happily ignoring his surroundings, until something changed. Even ignoring the present figure of a circling hawk. It didn’t bother him much, the bird. He opened his eyes to watch it, then frowned, deep.

Was it..getting closer?

Ajei didn't get out much and for the most part the tiny girl was quiet and shy. She wasn't loud or troublesome and though she was curious she was also cautious. Today as she slowly ambled through the pack lands she came across another who wasn't her brother and he was bigger than her. They all were really.

She curled tiny toes into the ground and smiled shy and sweet.

Hi?

The sound of another child made him glance over, the pup slowly rolling to look at her. She was small, smaller than him, and he blinked at her curiously.

…hi?

Something in him bade him look up again, but the hawk was out of his sight, it seemed. Something didn’t feel right, a prickle up his spine.

Who’re you?

actually i will join this lol

lately kukutux had been devoted to the curing of hides, their scraping, their cutting.

when arrluk lay his growing frame in the eye of the warm day, she smiled.

but her eyes lifted toward the thin shadow. "kilgik," she told him, a word for the clawed thing.

little ajei arrived next, and kukutux put out a paw to her with a soft expression. "maunngak." the jadestone eyes lifted to the hawk once more, though now it had gone.

He didn't seem very happy to see her so little ears drooped a little and she shivered. It had been a lot to say hi. Especially since she wasn't a very good talker yet.

Ajei. her name a small whisper. Then it was pack mother calling and she knew this face so she moved obediently foward with a small wag of her tail.

hi she knew her name, but she could never say it without causing a serious word scramble.

Mother called to him, to the girl, and he looked to her for a moment, before rising to his feet and beginning to trot back towards his mother.

Kassuq. Came his introduction, complete with a quick nod. His eyes went back to Kukutux, then the sky. The hawk was still out of sight.

Where it go? He asked his mother, confusion on his tiny face.

ajei. kassuq. kukutux looked up.

"kilgik goes where he wants. he flies high. he flies behind clouds. then he comes down ha!" voice lifted to punctuate.

"he grabs small things with the knives on his feet. when you are small, kilgik can also carry you away."

Ajei curled her tail around her haunches and moved closer to Moonwoman. She looked up at the sky searching for the Kilgik that had just flown over them. Whom she hadn't seen until right then.

Bad birdi? She asked quietly. A little sad that something was bad. Mama always taught her to be good.
