As much as Penn was enjoying himself as part of a pack (which is shocking even to me), there was no denying the wanderlust that was embedded in his Blackthorn DNA. So, after giving @Fennec the sloppiest kiss possible that morning, he had set out past the borders to shake the dust off of his restless paws.

He'd spent far too much of his time doing nothing more than gamboling about the wilderness that stretched between Moonspear and its neighbors. By late afternoon, he was trotting casually along the shores of Big Salmon Lake, debating what he wanted to do next. Frog hunting was always fun, but he was sort of in the mood for something more challenging. Ducks perhaps? Or maybe fishing...
