Rhonen had told his mother @Meadow and his father @Reyson that he was going his own way for a time. @Lotus. He offered her to come along. And now he stood outside of a pack he knew nothing about. With a fur of goat on his shoulders and meat at his paws. More to showcase his prowess and his size than to do much else. Because he knew as soon as he opened his mouth. He may lose any interest of the pack leaders.

He had been working hard. He still couldn't quite guard his tongue, and his stutter ran deep. But he could say some words now less difficult. 

He lifted his nose and requested leadership. @Ameline @Ancelin

"big guy!" ancelin hooted. he had caught the scent of blood and then of a stranger, but they were often right here, escorted by one or other of the massive guardians to where a leader waited on acceptance.
his stance was friendly, the wave of his tail refrained from anyone except what looked like a wandering young messenger with a gift. "this is bearclaw valley. i'm ancelin. can i help you?"
wouldn't ameline be so proud of his new customer service voice? probably not, as it came from a man who still looked like a frankensteinean idea of what decoration should be, a man littered with bones and sap and lately, dried coyote blood.

A man came forward. But Rhonen stood heads ands houlders above him. He tried to make himself smaller, it felt like the right thing to do. But well it didn't work really well. After all, he had gained his father's size. And his father, big guy. 

Rhonen tilted his head. HHHello. I'm Rhonen. He swallowed quickly. Forcing his voice to not quaver, thinking about every syllable, every way he spoke. 

he tilted his head and then dipped it down. I ssseek aa home.

"well, we have space, rhonen. i'm ancelin, rex to our queen ameline. we're about guardianship and hunting, and you can collect things that show your prowess in both. if you're not sure what you can do best, you don't have to choose."
dadmode. he looked the kid over. "tell me a little about yourself." just a little, he'd caught the speech struggle. but if rhonen wanted to be here, he needed to know that bearclaw wolves were all certified in yapology.

Hunting, guardianship. These were not things that Rho thought for himself. But he also knew he had the body for it. And the goat pwlt around his shoulders. The meat at his paws. That could prove he was able to do so.

"ameline is the queen. the regina. she'll have our children soon. when you come to her, bring her food. protip," ancelin laughed a little, traveling at an easy stride.
