Meadowlark Prairie Mama needs a little girl

Maman and Papa had left the vale, and Chandra had followed suit. She had not seen Chaudry or Julienne since, and frankly didn't think much of it. The daughter was more than happy to be travelling alongside her parents, taking in scenery and happily basking in their consistent company. There were no borders to guard or neighbours to please, only paths to walk and meals to hunt. Chandra knew now that her home was not one place, but wherever her family was.

Trotting through the grasses with her parents likely lingering nearby, the dark-coated girl was pleased to take in the summer flowers. She was considering picking a few to take back to Viskani and Noctaryn, feeling sure that they would appreciate the colourful petals. Her limp leg not exactly keeping up with the rest, she dragged it through the grass and dirt with little more than a flinch when a pebble threatened to scrape her. Noctaryn had been right to think that her gait would improve with time, Chandra able to get along as well as any other pup if not a bit slower.

Pausing to grab a few of the aforementioned flowers, she had to wonder if she and her family were alone out here. Lifting her head, she glanced around the general area with a new curiosity.
