@Haoming! Sorry it took a while to get this thread up "^-^
Something viridescent sparkled beneath the water’s surface that the young otter swiped at – shiny and strange looking. A seawolf Aimi was, but not one who was very well versed when it came to the flora and fauna that thrived in the habitat she’d been living in her entire life. This did not mean the young lady didn’t wish to learn, however, just that she’d been too busy being bitey and defensive most of her life to actually sit down and get in touch with her curious side. Other than trailing the borders regularly and training – life on her sister’s island seemed to give her more time to flesh out this interest of hers.
Only question was: “这东西可食用吗?”

There was movement on the beach, but that was not where Aniuk was watching most. As she swept across the water with arms outstretched, with the sea raucous where it met the stone-ledge of shallows, her eye kept watch for easy prey.
Silverscale, greenfin, perhaps a wading bird caught unawares — she had once caught for herself a longbird, but only once. It was tough and stringy meat she could do without.
The wolf on the shore looked like a mound of wet sand to Aniuk. She did not see them vying for the bright color in the water but she did notice the brightfish twist and slip away, so she dropped and reached for it herself.
The water frothed. She felt the fish tail whip across her knuckles and withdrew dripping fists towards her belly, then beat her wings to climb aloft a draught. The wind dried her underside quickly but did little to temper the rest of her.
