Redtail Rise exhaustion

This litter tuckered the new mother out as the others past had not. As it turned out, one more made all the difference! She loved them fiercely, though, each of them—her own recovery and return to the pack merely took her longer than she anticipated. 

Her spirits were high today. One of her daughters looked after the cubs and New Snow ranged to find @Mountain Boulder. She wished to hunt!

it was new snow who broke him from that; he mouthed at her ruff, her ear, teasing her with a bark. she wished to hunt, and hunt they would, but the boulder was elated to see her and showed it with low, pleased whines.
