She was so tired and so very lost.
The novelty of the beach had waned off nearly immediately. Which meant she drove herself away from the saltwater, in an uncertain direction. Sands had turned into grasses turned into trees. She was entirely uncertain how far all of this would go.
She had quickly realized that the world was more endless than she had a single clue of.
Momentarily defeated, she allowed herself to lay down at the base of an apple tree. Eyes closed and feeling the starting tug of a very good nap.
It was a sleep that would be long and had become much more needed than she had realized.
