Sorry not very good with starting threads and I'm kinds confused about the scenery, but here we go.
She had fled from her first attempt to join a pack. For the first time in three years she had decided to join a pack instead of being a lone wolf. The first attempt; and she had been chased off by a group of aggressive, unforgiving wolves. Making a minor mistake, in her mind, and they were ready to kill her for it. Not being a pack wolf she was rusty at best, with pack edicate, along with the fact that she hadn't experienced it before. She had turned her back to them and had traveled a far distance full of both anger and slight disappointment.
Joining a pack was going to change things but they had done the very thing she was afraid of. But part of her knew that if she didn't give it another chance, things would go back to normal. A boring and repetative normal of eating, sleeping, and moving. Thinking this whole time, she kept going till she could go no more and ended up smelling the border of another pack.
This time when she found the border and took strides back. Not wanting to make the same mistake again. She also raised her head and howled for a member, preferably a leader - @Skellige, of the pack. Waiting she stood vigilent unsure if these wolves had similar characteristics to those of the other pack.

It was fine! ^^
The howl arose for Skellige, but it was Szymon who answered the call. Drawing himself to his full height, he approached the territory borders with tattered ears pressed forward upon his narrow skull and salt-crusted hackles rippling in a ginger-tipped inferno down his serpentine spine. Leathery nostrils quivered as he filled his lungs with the stranger’s scent, finding automatic suspicion in the tendrils of familiarity that lingered in her pelt. The violet-eyed, foul-mouthed creature and the dark male who had attempted to take Qilaq from Doe had been cloaked in the same telltale, venomous mixture of swamp mire and forest. It was faint upon this female, but it was not in Szymon’s nature to go easy on new recruits — curling his scarred lips in a possessive, dominant growl, he stopped just within the borders and allowed his golden eyes to strike fearlessly for her light blue ones. She appeared in good health — her dark fur was lustrous and glossy, her eyes appeared bright and aware, and she had the good sense to keep a respectful distance from the pack territory proper. It was easy to guess what she was here for, but Szymon questioned her anyway; a simple tilt of his head and a low, guttural rumble asked in wildspeech what his wooden tongue was loathe to utter:
Who are you, and what do you want?
Who are you, and what do you want?

A male approached from within the border. A lighter clored wolf with tan or light brown accents. His mid section had a darker coloration. Rouge was too far away to make out the pattern. With a dominating growl he remained within the border. She kept her tail down and scanned the border once more. Making sure no other wolves were around to try and attack her while she was focused on this wolf.
He asked who she was and what she wanted. Rouge didn't give he name out often and she didn't feel it right to give it to an entire pack without a garanteed acceptance in. She also wanted to be straight forward and blunt, at lest right off the bat. Able to say her peace before being chased off again. "I wish for work within your pack as a scout. I have been a lone wolf for three years and have much experience with travel and scouting." she wasn't sure what would happen next and waited in suspence.

Szymon could appreciate the wolf’s appropriate display of submission, but he found her wording confusing. “‘Work’?” he repeated succinctly with ample suspicion and skepticism lacing his tone, thankful that the stutter appeared to be held at bay — at least for now. It was an odd way to phrase things, as though she planned on being assimilated into the ranks only to leave it when a term of her making was up. Three years as a lone wolf could drive a wolf mad, though, and Doe’s own experience with the yawning, empty loneliness made him slightly more compassionate in Rogue’s favor. “Why now?” he questioned, choosing simple words that were less likely to trip him up. “Why h-here?” His stern expression and curled lip betrayed the displeasure he felt that she had not given him her name, but he would not wrest it from her grasp unwillingly. If she had no desire to live beside and love the Sea, her name would not matter to the Leviathan anyway.

He questioned her words. "Work?". Yes this is how she said it. In Rouges mind thats what pack wolves did. They all had jobs to do and duties to fulfill to their leaders. Being a scout she would most likely map out land scapes and deliver messages. Was that not what they did. He continued to ask why she thought to join a pack now, and why this one out of all the packs in the wilds. She didn't know why she asked this pack. Possibly surely based on the fact that she came across it. She did know their name or know any wolves with in it, to her knowledge.
"Yes, I wish to work as a scout. Maping out landscapes, sending messages, whatever is requested of me involving out of territory affairs. I've grown bored of my repetative pattern as a loner and would like a purpose. Your pack wasn't my target just on my path." she spoke neutrally and not in her usual playful wiched tone. She was a bit nervious and didn't want to ruin another chance to join a pack.

your joining posts are great! no worries at all <3
Skellige knew that he could count on his brother to guard the borders of the pack. Szymon had been dutiful in his time there. It had seemed that - no matter who had come to them - the youngest Cairn had presented himself with a new found ferocity. It was why he occupied the one of the highest ranks within the pack. It was why the inky brute had thought to promote him. Still, the wraith had endured a change of his own. He was far more wicked and still sought an expansion to his empire. Arturo would be leaving them soon enough. Their ranks were dwindling.
When a call had sounded along the borders, the leviathan rose from his cave and trudged to the black stone edges of the land. There was Szymon - as he had expected. Doe had not gone to greet this wolf, which had come as a shock to him. She had always been better at luring others into their ranks. She was far better with her words than either one of the Cairn brothers.
When he had neared them, he had heard the tail end of their conversation. A scout , he thought with a savage smirk. They would transition well to a spy. Scouts were fine travelers, and were capable of doing many things. The wolf would transition well into a spy. "How willing are you, Scout?" he inquired from his position. His baritone struck the air with obvious authority. Dark mahogany eyes scanned her with an inquisitive glint. He needed to know what she would do - how far she was willing to go.

His brother’s commanding presence was felt rather than seen; Szymon’s golden eyes continued to bore into the strange female with sharp wariness and growing interest. Even when his stance shifted to accommodate the Leviathan’s indisputable rank — tattered ears fanning back against his narrow skull before they drew attentively forward to catch the vagabond’s response; the high carriage of shoulders and spine relaxing to somewhere midway between neutral and dominant; the high-flying banner of his tail coming to rest just above the crest of his angular hips — he remained steadfastly trained upon the female who stood now in the greatest judgment she would ever stand in. He had nothing verbally to add; Skellige’s presence relieved him of the need to speak, for which he was grateful. A greedy smile of his own laced Szymon’s scarred lips.

Rouge began to see another male appear from within the borders. She tensed a bit only to relax once she saw he wasn't comming to attack her like the others had. The first male began to show signs of submission, or at least lower his dominance, as this new male approtched. A higher ranking member thought Rouge. Her tail stayed low and she showed no signs of dominance. She remained vigilentas he barged into their conversation. With his high rank he had the authority.
He asked how willing she was, addressing her as Scout. She was willing to do any task she thought, assuming they were along the lines of scouting. She wouldn't be too willing to be a medic of some kind. "I'm willing to do any scout mission you ask." she adressed the highest ranking male. Still cautious as to if others would join them at the border.

The female – claiming to be Scout – did not seem to waver much upon his approach. It was suitable that she would remain in her position, as she put forth a very neutral appearance. Szymon seemed to shrink slightly upon sighting Skellige, but he salt-ribbed wraith did not pay it much mind. The youngest Cairn had always done well to shy away from his vicious siblings. As grateful as the leviathan was for his sibling, he felt the need to express his desire for action. The female expressed that she would be willing to do anything that was related to her trade. For a brief moment, the titan wondered which role would suit her best. Casting that thought aside, he thought it best to allow her in and wrap her into their culture at a later time. It would provide less fear for her.
“Good. This is Szymon – his tongue is crippled, but his body is not. He will show you the boundaries of the pack. Find me at a later time and I will present you with your first task,” he remarked to her in a quiet growl. There was a gesture of his crown toward his youngest sibling – his eyes flitted across the inky bands that marked his ribs. It was almost a pity that he had received the marking of the strongest Cairn dredge… almost a curse, at that.
The wraith did not even stop to draw his ears to her name. The girl’s calling was of very little concern to him. Skellige wished to see her prove herself before he would look on her with any manner of kindness or praise.

Last post from me! Welcome to Blackrock Depths, Raven!

Though one of Szymon’s tattered ears swayed faintly to the side of his narrow skull in displeasure, his facial expression remained neutral and immovable. In time, the female would earn her keep or she wouldn’t — only time would tell. As long as she remained loyal to Skellige and the Sea, Szymon would treat her with respect and acceptance, if not warmth. “C-C-Come, Scout,” he said simply, a roll of his sharp, angular shoulders producing a bristling of salt as he turned to tread further into the territory. He turned his head to regard the dark female with an intent stare as he began to walk, expecting her to follow so that he could explain the significance of the Sea, the borders of the bay, the food reserves — including Doe’s private stores, which were not to be stolen from. He, taking cues from his brother, would come to know the female simply as Scout.

Everything after that was so sudden. The leader introduced the male next to him, but not himself. He suggested that Szymon show her around and that she should meet with in later for her first mission. After the leader left Szymon followed into the border and gestured for Rouge to follow.
Was that really it, was she a member of the pack now? It seemed fast and informal in a way. Not even asking her name, though Rouge was used to not giving it away. She was fine being refured to as Scout for now. That's all she really wanted to know her as for the time. Following Szymon she crossed the border and headed into the pack's territory.
