The wind blew cold on his fur as he sprang down the coast. He enjoyed the feeling of the sand running through his toes and the fresh smell of saltwater as the waves crashed on the shore. Ah, how he would miss the sensation of feeling this free and alive once he found his mother. He knew it would be as hard to stay put for too long as it would be leaving after having returned from such a long time away. But this itch he felt to see his family again was stronger than his wanderlust, and he couldn't deny himself the pleasure of showering his mom with kisses.
As the young wanderer made his way south the lively beach opened way to a dull, rocky expanse that was way more tumultuous and harder to navigate as he got deeper into it.
Hell no.
Instead of crossing it Pyro decided it was more practical to walk around it. Time was definitely a factor these days and it would take twice as much time to try and figure out a way across that maze. But the Teekon Wilds had yet another obstacle for the adventurous Rochester. He had to walk way too close to claimed lands in order to avoid the Tangle. Their scent was all over the place and Pyro hadn't been avoiding interaction the past year for no reason. However... A thorough glace around him suggested that the coast was clear... He was fast enough, wasn't he?
Hell yeaaaa.
One last quick confirming glance was enough for Hi my name is Pyro and this is Jackass" to kick in and before he even knew it he was sprinting dangerously close to Drageda Territory.

Rose usually did her best not to linger near the borders for multiple unimportant reasons but, when she did occasionally teeter along the fringes of the territory, she was normally met with silence and boredom. That winning streak was about to end today.
The unfamiliar scent caught her attention as she weaved throughout the redgroves, her pace steadily increasing when she realised whoever this may be was running. Normally she would have called for backup or have waited for the loner to simply pass by, but because they were so close and moving so quickly, Rose's body decided to make its own decisions and before she knew it she was chasing down the fleeing form of some random guy.

Bad call.
One moment Pyro was sprinting coolly through the plains with his tongue out in an over confident smile, and the next he was being closely chased by a red wolf with clear intentions to take him down. His smile suddenly became a frown of worry when he turned to find her figure charging behind him like a fiery gazelle, and while he was a fast runner himself she was literal fire.
He thought he could handle it so he kept running, but it seemed the Tangle hadn't quite been evaded after all the effort. Things started looking grim for Pyro when rocks started sprouting in awkward angles in the horizon, and sooner rather than later Pyro had to slow down to start skipping and curving to avoid smashing right against one of them. But it seemed that the chase had been too hard on the female, and eventually Pyro slipped out of her reach through the maze of rocks to disappear in the horizon.
