Forward dated about two days! So around Oct 27th! ;D
He still hasn’t quite found what he’s looking for. It seems wandering is what is asked of him right now. Especially from his god, or maybe gods? He is unsure, yet he wants to take from the young girls teachings. There is only one god and he speaks through O’Mally himself.
Though everyone must take a break every once in a while. As his journey along the coast continues, he finds himself frequenting the freezing waters of the salty ocean that continuously keeps him company throughout this journey. It’s almost comforting at this point. Speaking of, he took a dip only a few hours prior, his fur horribly curled by the harsh water. It give him a slight messy, or perhaps wavy appearance to his silver, shimmering pelt.
He’s practically only existing at this point. So he stops in his tracks, facing the sea, and bowing his lower body. His strong, handsome features of his face are tucked into his chest, as he says out loud a prayer.
“This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar — the Lord almighty is his name!” His words are passionate and strong, his voice deep as he praises his god of the ocean and it’s creatures. One of which he is about to take a life from. “Creator God, all your works are wonderful. The earth and the oceans are yours. You made them with your hands and filled them with life, one of which I am about to take out of necessity; to live my lord, to continue to breath — for this is the way the Lord meant for life to be.” His heterochromatic eyes flick open ominously back to the shore as he locks his eyes onto a small seal pup. “Amen.”
"The past is an enormous place, with all sorts of things inside. Not so with the present. The present is merely a narrow opening, with room for only one pair of eyes. Mine."

So she hadn't ventured far from the kind Yuèlóng.
But she wasn't about to embark on her mission yet.
Vanity sighed, wandering back up the coast for something to do other than territorial stuff in Ironclan.
And then she happened upon this stark, pale man of impressive stature.
Vanity couldn't help but get a closer look at this diabolical mess.
He was praying. She could see that much. But she could also see the rough, unkempt fur layered over a toned body.
His head lifted slightly as she neared. But not to look at her. At the lone seal pup, left by its Mother.
What a shame.
Vanity lifted her chin and approached with a swagger.
"You shouldn't hunt here Sir. The wolves of Yuèlóng will despise it."
She was told as much. This was their hunting grounds and she knew they just popped up out of nowhere sometimes.
She smirked, waiting for a reaction.

It is only one pup,Huā pointed out, arriving soon enough to hear the end of Vanity's words. She had noticed the woman's absence, but took little offense to it- Yuèlóng did not force their members to stay, and the woman had lost her daughter anyway. At least she was out pursuing her children rather than staying on the island like some mothers who had lost their children. The scent of Wintersbane was upon her, which the empress noted to herself, before turning her attention on the pale male ahead of them.
I suppose you do not need help hunting that-She laughed quietly with a gesture to the seal pup,
But if you want my help, maybe we bring down something bigger together?

When his eyes flick up, he is not only met with movement in his peripheral, he’s met with a smooth, silky, feminine voice. One of the purest of temptations. He is slow to address her, his last murmuring of “Amen.” on his lips as he turns his gaze to her instead. Though when looks over to land his attention solely on her, he is met with not one, but two beautiful women.
“Oh?” He hums to Vanity. “Has god deemed these lands yours and only yours alone? Or have you?” The words could be perceived as harsh, but his tone is anything but. For his own voice is velvety to the ears, soft and unafraid of their judgment. For only god can judge him.
Though he can only assume that these two wolves know each other, so he addresses the other now. The lighter, tan with fading black stockings and soft blue eyes much like his own. His chiseled, noticeably handsome face smiles politely to them both. “I would be interested in a hunt with you both. Perhaps the unfortunate will not be that lone pup, but perhaps another this faithful day. So as that one has an opportunity at life.” A slow flicking of his eyes between the two and his tone says that he knows exactly what he’s taking about, confident yet soft. “This is the will of god.”
His smile is small and soft as he approaches them easily. Allowing his head to turn towards another of the flock. “Your pick.” For God will influence their decision without them even knowing it.

Well damn.
Vanity's eyes flicked to Hua.
She didn't expect to be caught in all honesty.
Though she doubted she'd be dragged back.
What surprised her though was Hua not ordering him to cease hunting. In fact, offered to hunt with him. Hua confused the masked woman.
She only shrugged to the man now. She'd happily hunt with them, even just for a few bites. Seals were good for building winter weight.
She rolled her eyes at the 'will of god' stuff. Some from her clan believed it. But she'd not had the proof of it. She only had proof of the dead. She'd be paying them a visit soon enough.
She cast her gaze to Hua and then the gaggle of larger seals. Wondering what they'd pick. And if she needed to steer them in the right direction. Surely not though.

The man spoke of a god. Huā thought briefly of Mei, and her Gods, but doubted this man shared any beliefs in the Gods 沧 and 日照。Nevertheless, Huā was not judgemental on the basis of religion, and rather listened with dark ears thrust forward until he offered they make a pick. If Vanity was confused by Huā's hospitality, she did not know Huā very well- the siren's prime reason for territorialism was based in the care of nature. When animals could be hunted in a smart and sustainable way, there was little issue, and especially with herself being able to monitor the hunt, she did not mind sharing food.
Her azure gaze swept across the population of beasts that lay ahead of them, dissecting the strengths and weaknesses of individuals, assessing the best targets and sorting them into a group which she continually narrowed. Eventually she pointed to a particular one,

How about him?He was a young male who lie at the fringes of the group, unprotected- and she could see why he was ousted. There was a nasty wound upon his face and across one eye where something else had surely tried and failed to eat him. His body was fine, untouched by injury, and she knew the meat there would be perfect, but his weakened vision provided the perfect disadvantage in order to pick him off. She glanced to either of her companions, eager to let them lead the way if they agreed.

The darker woman with an eerie skull mask rolls her vicious red eyes and he can’t help but smirk at her. Blue eyes landing on her face for some moments before the voice of the other Siamese patterned wolf speaks up to suggest another. He nods enthusiastically to her. Her accent making his ears twitch and swivel trying to place where she could be from. He swears he’s heard one like it before in his home town.
So he pauses briefly. Facing the seal they’re about to steal the life of and dips his head. A prayer comes from his mouth then, reverent and soft. As if asking God permission to steal the life force from this living creature. Then his eyes open once more and he looks to the two of them to confirm his readiness for the hunt. Padding forwards and heading towards the animal. He plans to surround it and separate it from the rest even more than he already is.

She nodded curtly in agreement.
It was a good pick, she might have chosen the same.
She gave the pair a grin, then waited for O'Malley and his damn prayers or whatever.
Then he started off. Slow and easy.
The seals were obviously worried now, spotting a hunting party approach. The scrambled to get as close to each other as possible, but the injured one still wasn't allowed the safety of the colony.
Vanity lowered her head, peeling away from the other two to come around from the left side of the target.
If the colony scattered, he might be left behind if he couldn't see or breathe properly.
She glanced to her paler counterparts, watching for their movements.

She held back her impatient sigh while the big guy prayed; she had dealt with this with her sister, hadn't she? Though she was always far more sympathetic to and understanding of @Mei , than any pink-skinned stranger. But it was over soon enough, and then they were picking their way down the shores. Animals like these were smart in their way, she thought- they knew the burden and risk the injured one posed, and he would not be welcomed back among his people. Huā didn't operate that way, but she'd damn sure consider it if she were prey like them.
Vanity took the left. Huā moved to the right, giving the creature a wide distance, but moving in carefully. This could not all be a slow game, though- and when the time was right, Huā picked up speed and came upon the beast, aiming to tear her fangs into his side (and hoping the religious fanatic might join her on the right, for she was a small thing in comparison to the both of her partners.) But even if she was alone on this side, she knew Vanity would be handling the other, and the empress used what little knowledge of violence she had to sink her fangs relentlessly into flesh even as the beast swung and screeched.
Soon they had taken down their target, and split the meats fairly, and Huā reflected on how she might improve her hunting in the future despite her small size. It was all about technique, speed, picking the right target. She bid her companions farewell, taking back a good portion of the beast for her caches, glad she could provide for her family too.
