Blacktail Deer Plateau It ain't like midnight and cigarette smoke

Happily she decided to close it, and he accepted the greeting with a broad smile, returning one of his own before turning his attention to a burr that had worked its way into the fur on his opposite shoulder.  As he worked at getting the darn thing out, he listened.  She didn't seem keen on elaborating, but he guessed at the purpose for the place and it wasn't a subject he was wanting to dwell on either.  Thus he was perfectly fine with the evasion.

"A stroll of the kingdom," he said, "though I did not run into anyone.  I did meet up with a couple mouthy squirrels.  Insulting, they might be on the menu one of these days.  Can't very well allow that to stand." Though the idea of every prey in the area heckling him was a rather amusing one, in theory at least.
