Ugh. His brain was starting to hurt. He'd spent so long trying not to think about a pack. Now that the conversation was in front of him he couldn't ignore it. He also didn't have the slightest idea as to what he was looking for or even wanted out of a new home, so that didn't help much either. An alpha he could respect. Wolves he could get along with. Those things should have been simple, but maybe he was just too darn picky. Yeah. That was probably it.

His eyes dropped as he admired the ground and listened. "Makes sense. Desire over obligation is a far stronger bond." It didn't make sense to keep those who didn't want to be there. "It sounds like there are a lot of packs in the area. I imagine a few of them are offshoots of others. I can't imagine separating like that does kind things for pack relations." Or pack dynamics. More mixed loyalties. Tension and fear of wondering where ones loyalty truly lied if they were so quick to switch sides. "Maybe. I'm just over thinking it." Which was likely the case.
