Eilidh followed her mother and father toward Dante's howl. She knew how to follow the sound, but remained behind her mother's haunches the entire way. She had been thinking long and hard about a few things in her life, and she continued to think as they walked. Finally, when they settled down near Dante at the meeting place, Eilidh seated herself next to Blue, and leaned against her. It was hard work being the only princess of the pack! And the fire had scared a bit of life out of her, even if she didn't want to admit it and was working hard to get it back.
