He arrived shortly after Nanuk and took three seconds to assess the situation and evaluate the threat. A triad of coyotes was closing in on Iqniq while a separate trio headed toward the den. The Beta female launched after the latter. Wicked began to move toward the Alpha male to help him but then decided that protecting the pack's young was the most imperative task, even if he personally wanted little to do with the cubs.
