Meldresi was proud of this wolf, who, despite all of his failures, was still eager to serve his Goddess and his Dark Siblings. While he could no longer serve, his children, his blood, still could. She was fine with that, as that was part of the plan in the beginning. He was fulfilling his duty as a Dark Brother.

The woman strode forward, her eyes firmly locked on Kove. Gently, she butted heads with him, nudging his muzzle with sibling affection. He was still her Brother. He needed to know that.

Bending down as best she could, she scooped the hare into her jaws, meeting Kove's eyes once more before turning back and slipping into her dark forest, leaving the Inuit alone to think in front of the dark woods that were once his home.
