Ishi had been hoping that the Alpha Pups might make an appearance, but he supposed they were too young at this point. Ah well. He wasn't planning on running off any time soon, so he hoped to have a sniff and a play with them in the near future. And in the meantime, there were plenty of adults to socialise with, though he didn't recognise the vast majority of them. That was a bit embarrassing.

Ilya...he muttered sadly. But then he quickly realised his interruption, and flattened his ears apologetically, lowering himself close to the ground. He didn't even hear the stuff about the Beta. Poor Ilya...
