She accepted his offer, with stipulations of her own. Floki, of course, understood -- especially since he had just been weighing the considerations of his own pack. He would postpone his solo trip, feeling much like Aria in that he would not want to be away for too terribly long. Instead, he would wait for her return -- and in the meantime, he would strengthen his presence in the pack so that his absence would not be sorely felt.

He nodded. "Sounds great," he said, even as she was beginning to skip away. "See you soon!" he called after her, and while she had departed more abruptly than he had anticipated, he felt good as he watched her go. Perhaps things were looking up for the young Ostrega. He waited until Aria's pale figure had been swallowed by the night, then turned to make his way back towards Moonspear.
