Though, it didn't understand why that would cause someone to be harsh to the other male over it. It's not like you can choose who you're born to, he added. 

The dark male had grown up with only his immediate family for a short while, then was on his own after that. While he had come across other wolves, and some had looked different, he never quite questioned it. To him, he just needed to know if they caused him harm or not, and if they did, he generally went the other direction. He never made small talk.
