The amber woman didn't like the way Alkiva acted as if the woman already had a claim to their leader, as if they were mates. That hadn't stopped her from developing a crush on the wolfess whom she now approached given that they were both subordinates and needed to let Zaav take over as leader.

Kinvara dipped her head to the teenager as Zaavier introduced her, smiling encouragingly. Glancing at Alkiva as she was mentioned, her smile turned a bit shy before she looked away and refocused on the task at hand.
