What was strange about this one was that she hadn't been the kind that cannot wait to disrupt the peace and silence of the forest with their call. She'd stayed quiet on the edges of the forest, respecting the markings and awaiting to be noticed. But for that same reason Damien was unsure about her. How long had she been there, staring into the dark? There was only one way to know.
"The ravens will claw your eyes out if you stay that still for too long," warned the master with an eerie calmness to his voice, materializing from the darkness as he walks past the edges of Blackfeather. "Are you looking for something in the shadows?" he asked, and the sly swaying of his tail seemed to blend with the dark around him.
