Eske takes a moment but she eagerly bobs her head. The kill from Wildfire doesn't go unappreciated and the gifts from the other wolves makes her feel like she's done the right thing. She can't help but wonder where they might be Gyda hadn't had a litter or if one little thing was different. Everything has been placed strategically, she likes to imagine, as the former commanders gave her a path to take. They've gotten through everything so far and she doesn't doubt they'll survive the next leg and hopefully they will have a smooth rest of the summer and into the fall where winter will prove harsh once more. The children will be older and grown and capable of taking care of themselves (with the pack's help, of course) and as everyone makes their introduction and exchanges, everyone begins to dwindle.
