Thyri draws in a deep breath, tasting the lingering scent of a nearby pack on the tip of her tongue. For now, the sylph chooses territories that are not too terribly far from the Tuktu Hinterlands and therefore not too far from Shadewood. The only importance the territory holds for her is Grievous’ obsession with it and that she knows when she is ready to return to him that it is where she will find him. Eventually. Thyri does not like to be contained to one place for too long and when she does it is purely conditional. She realizes that when she puts action behind her self proclaimed title of queen her freedom will be hindered by duty and obligations; both regent and when the time comes matriarchal, but currently as she is not of the age to bear children it does not concern her which gives her more time to focus upon the first matter at hand.

The moon is bright and full where it hangs, unobscured in the velveteen darkness of night and it alights the emerald grasses with a silvery tone. The beauty of the Terrace is the kind that emits elegance and the champagne and cremé draped mummer attempts to adopt it despite that her intentions of mapping out the Great Bear Wilderness are for intentions more nefarious then she is likely assumed capable. Eventually, she will have made her way through the entire Wilds harboring the location of each pack that has risen and continued during her absence before she brings them to bear and decides where she wishes to begin though there is one she will stay away from. Drageda. One of her initial intentions had been to reconcile with the Commander …and perhaps she will, one day, but she does not want to try to, once more, integrate herself into a society she does not belong into. She is not her mother and she does not settle for less than she is worth.

Ears press forward atop her skull, alert as her gaze studies the ethereal landscape around her, conscious of the Moonspear’s borders and her proximity to them, close enough to discern what information their scent markers willingly provide but she leaves a distance that is more than acceptable, just in case.

and she speaks in a voice that sets men trembling,
with eyes painted gold and a throne built on the bones of
those who would challenge her rule
