She mentioned that maybe it'd be good for the pack if she had pups. It was possible, that Valette having pups could unify the pack again and bring happiness to them. But Ezekiel didn't want just anyone to father the pups, he wanted it to be him. Not only because of how much he wanted her now, but also because he'd loved her for a long time, and fathering her pups might bring them closer together again.
