A snort erupted from Cara's nose when Kaname pointed out the clear discomfort between the two. She wanted to turn and look at Mordecai's reaction but decided against it, instead she focused her gaze on the brown assasin and gave him a quick wink -as if to say- 'Gotcha' .

It wasn't something she wouldn't normally do. But then again this was no normal situation, she was stuck with the guy that had made a fool of her, pushing her to throw out the lady cards when there was no other possible move for the girl; and Kaname, the only one of her packmates -other than Jinx and maybe Lecter- that she actually respected.

She didn't utter a word when the brown Gamma assigned Mordecai to lead, she was content that no further questions were asked and that the other male had decided to keep his mouth shut. Wise choice, she thought as she trotted behinf them both.
