Barrow Fields love 'em and leave 'em

Well, yeah, he was friggen cold, but mostly he was a creep that had decided not to care about personal boundaries. This girl seemed particularly young and innocent, which was just his type. Dingo lingered for a little too long beside her, squished there and feeling her warmth, before he peeled himself away - not too far, but a comfortable distance.

What kinda trouble? She asked, unfortunate for her.

Well, ah, he started, putting on a little act of indecision, there's the typical adventure stuff — hunting things, fighting things, exploring, but, he cleared his throat and began to say something else, only to apparently rethink that decision. Dingo murmured cryptically, some more adult stuff, I can't really talk about it.

When they say "a dingo ate my baby" they probably refer to this Dingo, and any kid around Sequoia's age (in other words, they  need an adult).
