A low growl followed his head banging though it cut short when Morgan arrived. He first realised the man was there by scent, then by the concerned question asked. He slowly turned and faced the cowboy, the man he considered a friend. "You haven't spoken to cry then. It's Phex. Some Melonii man beat her up when she disobeyed me and ran off" he looked off toward the borders, fur bristling "I took too long to go after her" he admitted. "She needed to learn but not like this" he whispered that part, sounding pained.
