Bat hopped along merrily, her mending ankle lifted slightly off the ground. It was almost completely healed now, though she didn't want to take any chances, especially right now, when things were really starting to look up again. Tegan was almost fully recovered now too and the two of them had drifted south and spontaneously decided to take another swing at founding a pack. It was just the two of them and a handful of strangers right now, setting up shop just a little outside the Teekon Wilds, but everything was going swimmingly.

Of course, they still intended to pay the Firebirds a visit once Bat's ankle was back to 100% but, in the meantime, she didn't wander too far afield. She certainly didn't expect to see two former Firebirds while out on today's wintry jaunt. Her eyes widened as she neared the two of them beside the lake, her pace slowing and stopping. All four feet slowly came to rest on the ground as she found herself staring at a badly injured Tegan lookalike and the sister she hadn't seen in nearly a year.
