Flycatcher Downs if i ever leave, i could learn to miss you

his nerves fray again with the response, leaving him uncertain whether alamar truly wants this, or if he'd even understood. he complies silently nonetheless, knowing he won't have the courage to question it or try again. at least not right now. he curls up in the spot where his companion had been, trying to comfort himself with the lingering scent and warmth there. it's almost the same as being close to him.
