Redtail Rise rosemary

the boy, a name for him jr has yet to give!, the burnished leader and jr — with ghost overhead, fixating the wolves and world below him in his shrew gaze — make their way deeper into the territory. the boy brings her gift.

she does not hear the bellowing call, but even with her world on mute, she is aware of what the sight of his head tipped back and his lips parted symbolizes. he calls for others.

with the appearance of two other wolves, ghost keeps to the skies; riding the current of winds. jr wonders if he is made nervous by all the rows of sharp teeth and sharpened eyes. she would not let harm befall him, but he was still learning to trust her.

jr resists the urge to give to her fight or flight instincts as the ivory man approaches, allowing him to take in the scents on his guardhairs; her golden gaze rapidly reading body languages.
