Redhawk Caldera this world is yours to take

The Redleaf-DiSarinno pups had entered their window of socialization, and suddenly were 1000% more active as a result. Nightjar spent almost all his time racing around the den at a leisurely walk, practicing his standing and his posture until he was very nearly stable all the time. He was lucky that he could also see, and was quickly learning how to tell when he was about to walk into something, primarily due to trial and error. The world was still very blurry, though, or at least it would appear that way to an adult wolf. To him, it was very much the norm.

Fox must've recognized her litter's developmental checkpoint, too, for only moments after Nightjar finished his morning suckle, she ushered her pups out into the open. The dark den fell away to bright, blurry shades of grey and white and blue. As Nightjar was brought into the sunlight, he squeezed his eyes shut and squawked his disapproval.

He was set down on the grass, which he set to exploring immediately with his nose and lips. He buried his face in it, not even realizing that he'd slowly opened his eyes again, and waved his tail jovially as he introduced himself to perhaps the most abundant plant in the entire world.
