Charon could easily reach him to retaliate, but he judged the pain would be worth it. He wouldn't let him go home without some mark to wear.

As he held he pushed, again trying to get his opponent over before he was able to sink teeth into some other part of Dante. It was unlikely it would work, but he fought with his advantage, hoping his size would win out in the end.
