Back in Reality

Hopefully it'll turn into some fun character development for Ayana. :)

By some miracle, the girl stopped talking, and Fox eased off as Ayana walked away. So long as she retreated—which she was doing—the Alpha would not give chase. She had no reason to, and it was not worth the effort. Instead, the Redhawk lingered for a time, settling on her haunches as she confirmed that Ayana was out of sight. Once that happened, the girl was also out of mind, and Fox resumed her daily duties.
