Blackfeather Woods Death of a Bachelor(ette)

Venus nimbly weaved through the trees with ease. Her light body made it easy to jump over fallen logs and not so small saplings. Her eyes were intense as she focused on Burke, trying to copy his every move, because she couldn't see the tiny fox with Burke in front. Her tail was low and lashing as she ran. She slowed to a walk as the slimy fox scooted her way up the tree. Damn fox. She watched Burke break the branch off the tree. The hunt was on.

Venus waited for a moment for any other wolves to attack, but she couldn't hold it in, she wanted it's blood on her paws now. She maneuvered around Burke and attached her long teeth into the foxes hind end. Warm blood fell onto her tongue. Her eyes grew psychotic as she hardened her grip. She bit down until she couldn't indent the bone anymore. The satisfying crack of either a hip or a leg sounded from the foxes body. She wasn't about to kill this wolf, even though she wanted to, so badly. But as New Blood, she felt that it would be inappropriate to take this kill when others wanted it just as badly. They couldn't stop her from wanting blood on her tongue though. The damage was done from her bite, and she held on so another could finish the deed.
