Burke was rather relieved that Pyro was coughing and crying. It meant that the young one was surviving his fall into the water. Burke made sure to start to lick him clean. The male didn't want to have the sickly pup to catch a cold too. He might be sickly but that doesn't meant that he needed to get any sicker. When Vassago growled back at him, clearly trying to protect his brother. Burke gave him a warning nip in his shoulder. It was clear and wolf language, something Vassago could understand from instinct.

Burke grabbed Pyro once he was a bit more dry. He would needed to go to Malice. He nudged Vassago with his nose, telling him to walk by himself. It was clear that the young pup was more than capable of doing so while he carried Pyro.

End here. It continues in the thread with Malice! :)
