There were many budding thoughts of what the wolves would do if they did not wish for him to be inside of their pack. As tired as he had grown with the way that their world worked, he knew that they could not have been pleased that he had taken the place of their leader without any of the effort that was asked of a normal wolf. He had conquered their home with little regard to how it would have damaged their lives and their relationships with the others around them. This was the ghost’s nature, though; he had taken many things in his life that did not rightfully belong to him. The revolution was brewing inside of the Rosings pack, but he did not know who he could have sought out for answers. The only thought would be to find a way to flee, should they arise and attempt to overthrow him. For every inch of him that was a fighter, there was more of a survivor than anything else. When he had gathered his strength and returned to the beast he had been before the debilitating famine, he would no longer have a need for the wolves of the wood. When that time came, he would either become quite dangerous or he would depart with nothing but the ragged body that he had arrived in.

A blood-soaked muzzle was lifted upward to peer curiously at the female leader who had emerged from the brush. His fiery gaze rolled over her figure and he wondered silently why she had come to find him there, and what anger she had brought with her. Their previous conversation had been an odd one. She had told him that disrespectful actions would result in his immediate removal. Of course, the threat was one that he did not heed, but Kierkegaard had not actively sought to damage any of the wolves within their ranks. For as long as he had been there, he still did not consider them his wolves. Nevertheless, the expression on the woman’s face was one that he was familiar with.

“I see you have come to find me,” he remarked in a soft snarl. Lifting his head upward so that he could level his crown with her own, he quirked a single brow and canted his head to the left. “You’ve made your decision then?”

They were nothing more than animals, after all. They had their own needs, and he had filled many of them in his past. The moment that he would share with the fellow leader of the tangled wood was not unfamiliar to him in any sense of the word. Still, there was a curious tick in the maze of his mind that questioned her intentions and whether or not the actions that would follow would condemn her as well as himself. The ghost was not a cautious wolf, though. He was a savage, and he would behave accordingly.
