Admittedly, it was going to be a bit hard to try to assess them as she “sparred” with Bobby but her inattention would, at least, lower her guard and aid in having her tone it down for the boy’s sake. She has never sparred with someone so young before …especially not a child she was afraid of hurting (even if it was on accident). “Remember, today is just for fun. I want to see how you do without instructions, to see what you have learned for yourselves. There is to be no hurting or blood drawing.” She emphasizes upon the last simply because she remembers how rambunctious she was as a child and how that line was easily, if unintentionally, crossed (but then again she was an aggressive little heathen).
