No worries -- this will be my last post with Elwood, anyway! And looks like everyone else is done too so I'll archive! :)

"Weird," was Elwood's initial reply to Towhee, and while he didn't say much else, he would certainly think about her report and pass it on to Finley at some point. It wasn't uncommon for wolves to ask for friendship between packs, but to do so without displaying any respect for the residents? It didn't make any sense. And he couldn't understand why the white male had crashed the party, since he didn't smell anything like the young female.

When Towhee excused herself, Elwood nodded his farewell. There was no need to say anything out loud, because she was already turning away from him. He pivoted in the opposite direction, planning to complete a patrol of his own just to make sure that there wouldn't be any other unexpected visitors that day.
