Queenie huffed and looked away. This conversation was starting to push at her soft parts, the ones that she'd been able to keep so carefully wrapped up.
Don't worry about it, she hissed, though her voice remained low and respectful. It was easy for her to be angered by the elderly but it was rare to see her lash out without proper provocation.
I'll go now, she stated, not wanting to bother Gracious any further than she had.
