Shimmering Sands days turn, faster than a minute

she jolted awake when the waves lapped at her snout, stretched out before her. she blinked recovering blearily from the drugged sleep as she looked to @Engel on her left. quickly, a jolt of wrongness jolted through her - surely she shouldn't be seeking comfort like this, it was wrong, bad of her. there was a scent in the air, prominent, that reminded her dully of the odd scent of yesterday. she almost moved to her feet, but paused.

surely it couldn't be so bad, to wait a moment longer. to lay beside the red man, just until she woke fully, just until she could have a little more of that comfort. and, perhaps, whatever drove her scent drove her too to lean against him, poking her muzzle at his neck.
